Brooke and Justin

This is the wedding I always site as an example at "consultations" This was the day that the temperature dropped and that awful four letter word (snow) could be seen everywhere! :)
I must say, despite the cold, damp, wet and windy day Brooke was a champion and out bearing the cold for some good pics! You are my kind of girl ;)

The guys did great- mind you 3 layers of suit always help!

The girls- just look a "bit" chilly- but didn't even complain!

One thing I realized for sure this wedding, I did not miss the lack of the Legislative building this summer but was sure glad the couple booked a time slot. It is a great indoor (and free) alternative. Have you booked your backup location yet?

Congrats Guys!
I have posted a small sneak peak below-

Jen and Dayle- Married in the Whiteshell

Last weekend I headed out to the Whiteshell to Pinewood Lodge where Jen and Dayle had set the stage for a perfect wedding! I thought the location was fantastic! Not only was it picturesque, but it was reminiscent of a "destination wedding" that everyone had the pleasure of attending. I highly recommend checking this out if you want the feel of something "away from it all" but also close to home. With a lodge that can accommodate many wedding guests and some super sweet chalets- I was enamoured by it all!
Jen looked beautiful!
I had a wonderful time. Everything on the big day was WONDERFUL, including the overcast ;) Which I had a hard time convincing everyone of :)
Congratulations Guys! Thanks for putting up with all the pictures Dayle! And for the "Gun Pics" fingers and others- they are fantastic!
I have posted a very small slideshow from the day here

Shawn and Sean

Yes- You are seeing right- Sean married Shawn on a VERY HOT Sunday in September, as a matter of fact- probably one of (if not) the hottest day of the year!

Shawn looked stunning- I spent the morning with Shawn and her bridesmaids before heading out to Pine Ridge Hollow for the second time in one fabulous weekend. Her flowers were beautiful!

This was a first- after years of shooting weddings I have never seen the groom play the processional down the aisle. Sean wrote a melody for the occasion. Very memorable!

I don't know if this was quite the vision I had for the picture below. Actually, the mosquitoes were so bad that we tried to ACTUALLY STAY IN THE SUN :) Not ideal, you would know if you do a lot of shooting. But after I got home and had a close look at an infamous jumping shot I gotta say, check out the second guy from the left....can I hire him to jump with all my wedding parties!? :)

This ring bearer was a cutie!!

Laura and Randy

What a long weekend!
The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and we all helped feed the mosquito counts of Manitoba :) Ironically, both my weddings for the weekend were both at Pine Ridge!

It was a fantastic day! Laura looked fabulous and the flowers were beautiful! The ceremony and lunch reception were both held at Pine Ridge Hollow- everything turned out so well- the meal was scrumptious and everyone had a wonderful time!

These gems below were beautiful and SO TASTY, I have to admit that mine didn't make it through the reception :) I LOVE cookie favours.

We used some of the Pine Ridge Hollow grounds for photos but Laura and Randy also took some time to head to Birds Hill Park for a few photos before the day ended. Being a crazy hot day, the beach was loaded with people who all had a smile on their faces when seeing the couple approach the sand. Everyone LOVES a wedding.

I have posted just a small recap from the wedding day below. Laura and Randy- thank you so much for letting me share the day with you. I had a wonderful time. You have wonderful friends and family. Have a great life together!

Amanda and Earl

There doesn't seem to be a weekend go by that I don't feel like the luckiest girl with the job I have!

I must say that I am enjoying our beautiful July temperatures, even if they have come a couple months late...and the weather was fantastic for Amanda and Earl's wedding which took place in Gimli Manitoba.

Earl, who originally came from Wisconsin had guests from The Green Bay area come all the way to the little town of Gimli to join in the fun- I enjoyed talking to everyone! Amanda had a wonderful family and a sister who took some of the best photos I had seen- I actually asked her sis if I should pack up my gear and head back to the Peg'- luckily, she was pre-occupied being a member of the wedding party- so my job was safe :)

And I can't even take credit for this wonderful idea- it was Earl himself who thought that the rings in a seashell would be so fitting!

I had a wonderful day guys- thank you so much for letting me be a small part of it- Go Packers!

Here are just a few highlights from the day
