Engagement Photos in the Exchange

Paige and Mack

I only have one wedding this April amidst a slew of engagement, maternity and newborn sessions. For this one April wedding I couldn't have had a more wonderful spring day, awesome couple and beautiful details to capture.
I met Paige and Mack so long ago that it seemed like it was so far away- Definitely worth the wait. Everything was planned to a "T" and it showed.
Flowers by my favorite, Monica (832-2419)

Have a look at Paige's shoes....

Now imagine a sprained ankle- she wore them without a complaint...Actually thanks to a physiotherapist friend, she had her ankle taped and it held up beautifully!

We did some wedding photos downtown in the exchange district- Paige's classy birdcage fit in perfectly with the surroundings....

And these few shots....if you can imagine Paige and Mack walking up the SIX windy levels of a parkade with locked stairwells and elevators
:(
You can only imagine how much of a tool I felt like making the suggestion- but NO COMPLAINTS from either of them! I have some amazing clients!

Wedding party = amazing. Have I ever mentioned how much I love pink
Decor by Madeline's Weddings. The Greenwood Inn looked amazing! Madeline's added their special touches everywhere including some surprises like beautiful cupcakes at the Candy Buffet and satin napkins that were the perfect addition to the perfect table decor.
And speaking of table decor. I had the pleasure of supplying table numbers and menus from my stationary line.

I have posted a small slide show from the day here
Congratulation Paige and Mack
It has always been a pleasure!

Michelle and J.P.

From a photographers' perspective of a wedding day, I couldn't have asked for more. Michelle looked beautiful, we had time for various locations, the temperature was still bearable, the sky was overcast.... For one of my last weddings of an incredible season I was very fortunate to take part in such an amazing day!
Even the flowers were amazing (by Monica- of course!)
Michelle and JP had their ceremony at the Millennium Centre and we did some "warm and cozy" photos in the building before heading outside to cool down :-P But for the 24th of October, 10 degrees was alright with me.
This wedding season has allowed me to experience many "firsts" which I will post about after the years final wedding next week. Michelle and James didn't cut their wedding cake...THEY SMASHED IT INTO BITS with mallets!! The cake was filled with candy for the guests to take home. What a wonderful and entertaining "cake cut" that I am sure guests wont soon forget.
I have posted just a small highlight from the day below. Make sure to watch it in High Quality (HQ)

Brooke and Justin

This is the wedding I always site as an example at "consultations" This was the day that the temperature dropped and that awful four letter word (snow) could be seen everywhere! :)
I must say, despite the cold, damp, wet and windy day Brooke was a champion and out bearing the cold for some good pics! You are my kind of girl ;)

The guys did great- mind you 3 layers of suit always help!

The girls- just look a "bit" chilly- but didn't even complain!

One thing I realized for sure this wedding, I did not miss the lack of the Legislative building this summer but was sure glad the couple booked a time slot. It is a great indoor (and free) alternative. Have you booked your backup location yet?

Congrats Guys!
I have posted a small sneak peak below-

Kristen and Jason (and Kamryn) :)

On what seemed to be one of the last "bearable days" of the wedding season (although I have faith that there will be a few more days like these) Kristen and Jason had a wonderful wedding!
Jason and Kristen have a daughter as well- who referred to the wedding as "our" wedding and "our" wedding pictures and "our" wedding cake- and rightfully so!

Jason and Kristen both looked hawt! ;)

Despite any threat of rain the weather co-operated and we used some areas by the Waterfront and also took some pictures at the Pinewood golf course where the reception was held

I had a absolutely wonderful day! I know I am a tad late on this post (sorry if you were checking in Kristen!)
I have posted a very small peak at the day below
